I have a great love for stickers when it comes to my cars. I'm very particular about what is on my car and how it is placed.

I put on some of the stickers i got from Kenny @ Fatlace so i wanted to shout out a thanks again to those guys!

I caught up with Jason and a bunch of my other mates last night out in Surfers Paradise, i really hate the place but i occasionally have to head out there for photography work...

Jason is well known for his love of alcohol and his ability to consume copious amounts of it...
























Needless to say, my night was made 10x better having mates out with me to share a few laughs

Midnight Mechanic Kickback

Such an awesome time was had yesterday afternoon leading into last night.





The decision for some beers/hangout at Jason’s house was made, a good decision at that.



As you can see, Jason is quite the model. When i asked to take a photo of his new daily basher excel he insisted on posing for the shoot.


This was totally at random, i do this every time i get out of a hammock.... Very slowly...
This is generally how jason treats his cars, the excel is the privileged one. The 86 is the whore on the side.

Jason caught the photography bug during the afternoon and took almost as many shots as i did. Here's his artistic view of a clothes line peg.
Mr. Jason san, conqueror of the east and regions better off not mentioned, quietly asking his beer for more whole hearted advice.

The advice was taken.


Jason, recently released from the tyranny of an Amish commune, was happen to again talk about things like drifting, beer and electricity





















Jason's Girlfriend Jess was hanging out with us for the whole afternoon. We kept the car talk to a minimum lol.

Borrowed Lens

I took the oppertunity to get some good shots of my car this afternoon because i borrowed a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens off a mate.
I'm really happy with these shots, only problem is its hardparking... i want tire smoke

I managed to borrow a 70-200mm lens the other day to do some photos of Jason Surfing at 5am... on the way home at like 7 i decided to get some quick shots of the sil.

Ae86DC Calender

I had a nice suprise when i got home last night, an express post package had turned up to my house containing the new Ae86 Calender with Jason and my car's as Febuary. Win!

I also got a 86dc seat cover and some stickers, awesome!

The Drift Itch

When you own a drift car, you are usually broke all the time. When you are not broke you are drifting, untill you are again broke...

I havent been drifting for a while now because i have been out of a job, but i have the drift itch. An itch that can only be scratched with tire smoke, limiter bashing and aggressive clutch kicking.

On another topic, i have had this freaking canon sitting in my room for a good 7 months now and i still havent bothered to put it on my car. I hope to finally get off my arse and put it on some time in the coming weeks, this will get rid of the use of my giant 'no muffler' pipe that i use on track. So the car will be a little louder on the road, but a little more quiet and better sounding on track.

Team Sticker

I'm trying to design a new team sticker... One thats of simple design that i can get a heap made and hand out to mates etc. I did the very same with the last sticker (see title picture), however it was very costly and i only got about 15 made.

This is what i am thinking so far, a completely black background with chrome as all the writing.



Thoughts and opinions?
I want to make it thinner also, but it proves to be hard as the script writing easy overlaps.

Daily Love

Its funny, no matter how much is done to your 'track' car, there always seems to be enough heart to go around for a daily.
My s13 has a few tasteful mods, but nothing worth mentioning at this point. This car will be making its appearance as a Midnight Mechanics street machine soon enough..

Noddy's 86

This photo is a couple of months old. Unfortunately shortly after this photo was taken Jase was cut off by a bogan in a falcon. The car locked up and headed straight into a sign post which destroyed the Uras bar, and a bit of the front end, bonnet, light etc...

We hope to bring it back to its former glory very shortly.

Photoshoot

Yesterday i took the car for a photoshoot with the master of auto photography - Casey.
I also brought my 40D along to get some shots of the magic happening.

Unfortunately the day got rained out, but we found a good spot which we will be coming back to again soon.

Vintage 07'

We had all been building our cars for about two years now. Jason had the red trueno which was rocking a 20v, that can has since been sold and the 4agze one is a new shell. I assume the red car's only use since these days has been to cut sick laps somewhere in sydney...

Nod & I still had the NA 4age 16v's... however Nod's was some crazy jap concoction with super pointy high compression pistons..

The cars didnt look much back in the day, but we treated them accordingly... In fact we still treat them as if they look like that.
The arse of mycar still has a date with the wall on corner 3 at Queensland Raceway.....
