Leaving For Japan....

...Well, I'm not... But two of my good friends are; Beau and Aaron.

I went over to Beau's today as he is busy getting his 32 ready for the Raceline Drift in Tamworth. For those that don't know Tamworth is almost 8 hours away from where we are, gotta be dedicated.

Anyway, Seeing as Beau is leaving this Tuesday for J Land i figured i would get some shots of his car while he was working on it.

I love the idea that people can reach people in other countries at the click of the button.
I've found it very cool how people can find information on cars owned by other people in other countries, and so far all the stuff i have seen posted about my car has been in English speaking countries...

Inspiration

Back in 2005, there wasn't much in way of inspiration for ke70 drivers. I have always had a big passion for Ae86's, so that had alot to do with it, but one particular Japanese ke70 always gave me the inspiration to make my car what it is today.

I don't have much knowledge, pics or info on this car... infact, this is it. But Just seeing it made me fall in love with the ke70 design and i knew i wanted my car to look this awesome.

Any Australian's that are reading this, I'm sure you will remember Drift Battle Magazine. I miss that magazine, there was so much cool stuff from Japan! I found this in one of their issues with photos from Mobara.

I also watched a RaceFactory Dvd that had about 5 seconds of this car in it, i love watching it!

Josh's 90

Took an awesome shot of Josh's 90 last night. I came over to hang out with him and Big Bird while they were working on their cars. Teagan (bird), was on her way to changing two wheels on her cressida, while josh was doing some diff work.

Josh was also kind enough to donate his coupe's steering rack for my 70 which is buggered from years of use. This is now steering rack #3.
I thought this was a pretty cool shot of the coupe's bay also

For the last three days i have been busting my arse attending lectures & taking notes at my first week of uni. Consequently, not much has been going on here.
